Hello Hurricanes Families, We have great news that the parkas from the group order, originally scheduled to ship on December 1st, are arriving today! If they make in time for practice, I'd like to start passing them out to be used at the Turkey Trot this Saturday. If you would like me to hold back your swimmer's parka for use as a Christmas / other gift, please send me an email before practice today and I will set it aside. Thanks! Coach Brian

Hello Hurricanes Families, I hope everyone had a great weekend. I mentioned last week that our older swimmers are in the midst of some of the season's most difficult training. If you see any of them around, please give them a pat on the back. Last week, Monday - Saturday, many of them swam more than 40,000 yards, which is the energy equivalent of 4 marathons! Not only did they embrace the challenge, but they did so with grace, enthusiasm, and a ton of support for one another. We're still...

Hello Hurricane Families! First, I would like to give a huge pat on the back to our team for their progress in training over the last few weeks. After a late start, we are right in the middle of the most difficult part of our winter training plan and our team has not backed down. They are working hard as a unit, rising to the occasion together, and coming out of each new challenge stronger and more focused. This is how great athletes and teams are built, so I encourage...

Although it isn't something entirely within our control, please be extra attentive to your diet and sleep schedule over the coming weeks to help minimize the damage. The next 6 weeks of training are the most important of our winter season, and I hope to have as many athletes as possible in the water and feeling strong. There are a number of important updates and announcements happening...

Hello Hurricanes, First, thanks to everyone who made it to Colorado Springs for the PPA Harvest Heats this weekend. Our team came with a great attitude and had a lot of fun supporting one another and racing hard. The swimming was good, but we are just at the beginning now that we have our pool back. With many fitness milestones to achieve, skills to learn, and habits to reinforce, we can all expect to raise the bar for performance over the next few months. Our new Agonswim team store open...
