Hello Hurricanes Families,

I hope you all are enjoying the last moments of a rejuvenating holiday break! I eagerly look forward to the return of our swimmers this afternoon.

On behalf of all the coaches, I express our gratitude for the overwhelming appreciation shown by the Hurricanes families. Your thoughtful cards, generous gifts, and expressions of goodwill leading up to Christmas have been truly heartwarming. It reinforces the significance of the values and environment we all foster within the Hurricanes community. The impact of swimming, when approached with mindfulness and dedication, is profound for everyone involved. Thank you for your integral role and, most importantly, for encouraging and supporting your children as they engage with our staff and team.

Regular Practice Schedule Resumes Today

We are back to our regular schedule for the remainder of this week. Please note that all practices are canceled on Friday, January 12th through Monday, January 15th due to the Cuda Classic.

Cuda Classic Entries Due Tonight (1/2) at Midnight

If you plan to participate in the Cuda Classic next weekend, please declare your intent by the midnight deadline tonight.

Up-to-date USA Swimming Registration is Required to Practice

Special thanks to Kathy Hellard for diligently reminding those whose USA Swimming Memberships expired at the end of the year. As a result, the majority of our team is up to date and eligible to practice today. However, a small group of swimmers still has expired registrations. Please update your registration before coming to practice, as unregistered athletes cannot be allowed in the pool for liability reasons.
