Hello Hurricanes Families,
Great job to all the swimmers who competed at the CSI Long Course Open last weekend. We had a lot of great swims, including a suprising number of best times for this point in the summer. I look forward to seeing what we can do with a few more weeks of work behind us at the Zone 2 meet!

Mock Meet #2 Tonight!
Category 1 and 3 will have the second Mock Meet of the summer during tonight's regularly scheduled practice time. It will be entirely in a relay format. Come on in ready to cheer loud and race hard! Our last mock meet will incled Category 1 and 2 on Tuesday, July 11th.
Team Survey Still Open

You have just a few more days to complete the Evergreen Swim Team Survey as it will close on Mon, June 26th. Just 40% of families have completed the survey. I want you to know that this survey is COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS. Your names are not connected to your data in any way. I can only see who has completed it in a separate file and I DO NOT tell anyone who completed it. I hold a PhD in psychology and work in education and market research where I follow all ethical guidelines. I will provide the data to the Board and Coaches in aggregate. That means that they wouldn't see if you said you were a Cat 3 parent and what you said specifically. I will also make sure there are no identifying items in the comments. If the data is too small to break apart by group and would compromise identity then I won't do so.

Additional Change to the Regular Schedule for Surge and Cat 5
Due to a swim meet scheduled at Hiwan during our regular practice time, we will move our morning practice on Friday, July 14th to 6:00-7:30 at Wulf
Upcoming Colorado Zone 2 Meet
For many of our swimmers this will be this summer's last and/or best opportuntiy to swim fast and showcase their progress in the pool this summer. Please make this meet a priority so we can make a real impact as a team. Thank you!
