JeffCo Hurricanes in Evergreen Newsletter October 2016
SPIRIT WEAR FORMS due Friday, 10/28 - If you are wondering where all the parents have gotten their Jeffco T-shirts or if your swimmer would like some extra Jeffco Hurricanes clothing, please check out the Team Spirit Wear form and print it out and turn it in to your coach as soon as possible.  Sweats, flannel pants, hats, etc. make great holiday gifts. And parents love to show their support with some of the lovely adult clothing.
All Team Practice at Meyers Sat., Oct. 29th  (wear your Halloween Costume).
Category 1             8:00-9:00am
Category 2             8:00-9:30am
Category 3,4,5        8:00-10:00am 
Additionally, on the 29th there will be a talk on swimming in college between 10-10:30 for High School students and parents right after the practice
Will be guest speaker on Wednesday November 2 at 6pm at Wulf Pool to give a talk about Injury and prevention to any parent and Cat 4 & 5 swimmers.
Team Picture Day is November 14th 4:00pm at the pool. ALL swimmers should be there dressed in their black suit and silver team     t-shirt. Imagetek has been doing our team photos for years and does a great job.  Have your order form filled out in advance and attach a check to make the process go quickly and smoothly. Tuesday, November 15th is when the final deposit of $250 is due for the Vegas trip.

Hurricanes Poetry Contest entries are due November 18th

Congrats to Remi Gucker for achieving Top 5 IMX point score in Colorado in both short course and long course during the 2015/16 seasons. Certificates were presented at the Colorado Swimming Awards Ceremony last month.
