CSI MEET AT DU, DECEMBER 4 - 6
The format of this meet is different than usual - it is similar to a state meet, with prelims and finals for those swimmers with qualifying times, but the mid-day session is a regular meet for the rest of the swimmers.  Category 1 swimmers are not entered in this meet.  Check the meet entries carefully so you know when your swimmer is scheduled to compete.  Make sure you print out the parking pass (page 7 of the meet info) and leave it on your dashboard.   A team update will be sent out with warm up times and any other last minute info.  Ask Coach Jeff if you have any questions.

Love those new team suits!

NEW PRACTICE TIMES FOR CAT 3&4
Please remember that the time for Tuesday evening practice for Categories 3 & 4 will be from 5:45 - 7:30 pm from now until the end of January.  This is to accommodate the high school girls' swim practice.

A WORD FROM THE BOARD PRESIDENT
I will be conducting a quarterly review with Coach Jeff and would like to hear from team parents and swimmers with constructive feedback. We are having an amazing year so far - the team has grown to 91 swimmers; we have added two new coaches to our staff; and kids' times are dropping like the temperature as we head into winter!  That said, there is always room to tweak things and make the team even better.  Please share your feedback with me by Monday, November 30th via email to president@evergreenswimteam.org .
Thanks, Kathy Lahr

TEAM ROSTER
You should have received the latest team roster in an email last week.  Please respect the privacy of the team families, and use the contact information only for swim-team-related communications.  If you did not receive the roster, please email Susan Kramer at swim@outsidelogic.com and she will forward one to you.

TEAM PARTY DECEMBER 13th, 4:30-6:30pm
There will be a Holiday Party, with food, fun, and open swim for swimmers and their families on Sunday, December 13th from 4:30-6:30pm in the Community Room at Wulf Rec Center.  The team will provide delicious barbeque sandwiches and lemonade, and families are asked to bring an appetizer (last names Q-Z), side dish (last names A-J), or dessert (last names K-P) to share. Please RSVP to Bill Coughlin at eaglecoughlin@q.com .  The flier is posted here and on the team home page for complete information.

THE OFFICIAL UPDATE ON OFFICIALS
Yes, we still need parents to train as officials.  Many thanks to those who have stepped forward - you may have noticed these Hurricane parents on deck at our home meet beginning their training - Susan McDonald; Amy Hathorne; Cathy Crane; and Kirk Fleming.  Our team has grown, and CSI would like each team to provide one official for each 10-15 swimmers, and it would be great to have more people trained so that our officials could have a break and a chance to be with their swimmers during a meet. So, if you've been thinking about it, please call or email Kathy Lahr (303-570-8251 or kjlahr@yahoo.com) to learn more about this terrific opportunity to become more involved in your kid's sport.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS:
Next Board Meeting: Monday, December 14
Meet Entry Deadlines: Dec 2 (North JeffCo - Dec 20) and Dec 16 (MACS - Jan 8-10)

HOLIDAY PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
There will be no practice from December 24 - 26, or from December 31 - January 2.  Other than that, practice will be at regularly scheduled times throughout December.

With the big snow right before our home meet, we've already seen the usefulness of this new communication tool. If you have not yet done so, please sign up for text alerts regarding last minute changes and team info, to be sent directly from Coach Jeff to your cellphone.
