If you know of someone interested in joining the team, let them know that there will be board members available during the first week of practice to answer questions - from 4-5:30 on Mon/Wed/Fri, and from 4-6pm on Tues/Thurs.

Even if none of your information has changed, we ask that you fill out a new emergency treatment form for your swimmer and send it in during the  first week of practice.  If your swimmer has asthma, or any other chronic condition it is imperative that the coaches have this information, even if you do not feel that it affects them at practice.

Tired of sitting still at swim meets? We need more officials from our team to help run our home meets.  There is a training on Oct 3 in Glenwood Springs, and others available as well.  Contact Kathy Lahr, kjlahr@yahoo.com or call 303-570-8251.

Coach Julia was seriously injured in a bicycling accident on August 22.  Her condition has stabilized and continues to improve.  Please respect the family's privacy at this time.  Coach Jeff has been posting updates on his blog, and he will continue to keep us posted as she recovers.  Friends of the family are developing a website to coordinate efforts to help out - www.carecalendar.org.  If you wish to help out in some way, their needs will be posted by Sept 4; go to the website and login with ID 21519 and code 3322.  In addition, MileHigh MultiSport has planned an open swim event on Saturday, September 6 at Grant Ranch in Littleton to raise funds for Julia and the other cyclist who was injured.  The entry fee is $25 and all proceeds will go directly to help defray the cost of their medical care.  Here is a link to the event information.

The new suits are available through the Team Store on the team website - order yours now so you will be certain to have for the first home meet on Sept 27th.
